Connelly Takes Office as HBA President

Michael Connelly, a partner at Connelly • Baker • Wotring • Jackson LLP, took up the gavel as the 2003-2004 president of the Houston Bar Association at the organization’s Annual Dinner Meeting held May 22nd at the Houston Country Club. Connelly succeeded Tom Godbold of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.
The gala evening was dedicated to the accomplishments of the HBA and its members during the past year. Godbold presented the President’s Awards and Special Recognition Awards to outstanding committee and program chairs for 2002-2003, and the HBA honored its emeritus members who reached their 50th year of practice during the last bar year.
