Judicial Investitures

A portrait of the late Hon. John D. Montgomery, judge of the 309th District Court from 1987-1999, was unveiled in a special ceremony on September 30, 2003 in the 309th District Courtroom in the Family Law Center. Judge Montgomery’s son, Justin Montgomery, unveiled the portrait with the help of the Hon. Michael Hay, associate judge of the 309th District Court.

A portrait of the Hon. Don Wittig, former judge of
the 125th District Court, was unveiled in a special
ceremony on September 26, 2003 in the 125th
District Courtroom in the Civil Courts Building.
Shown with Judge Wittig and the portrait is his
wife, Rhonda Wittig.
